Regulate & Relate, then Repair: Effective Strategies to Help Children from Trauma and Neglect

Advances in neuroscience have led to a better understanding of how trauma and neglect affects brain development and ongoing brain functioning. We now know how to best help children heal and build resiliency. This training will discuss brain development and functioning, including how this is affected by trauma, neglect, and adverse life events, in an easy to understand manner. Parents, professionals, teachers, and others will learn the most effective strategies to use to help children heal.
