Boating & Personal Watercraft Course

The Brantingham Community Association will be conducting a Boating & Personal Water Craft Safety Course. The class will be held Monday June 27 and Tuesday June 28 from 4:45pm to 9:00pm at the Howard G. Sackets Technical Center (BOCES).
Student MUST attend both dates and pass an exam. To operative a PWC (jet-ski) you have to be at least 14 years of age and also have a this safety course. Read Brianna’s Law on required education by year to operate a power driven vessel.

All registrants for this event must be 10 years of age by June 27, 2022.
Student must be 10 years old at the start of the course.
If you are 18 years of age or older, there is a $10.00 fee for your permanent boating safety certificate, payable to New York State Parks. This is in addition to any course fees paid directly to your instructor. NYS Parks does not collect a certificate fee for students under the age of 18, but there may be a course fee charged by the instructor.
